RECLAMATION - Composition video

The best and most difficult part of FVD.  My groups members were Abhishek, Anjana, Ashin, Gajalakshmi, Rishikesh, Rashi, Kuldeep and Vipin. Coordinating within a group of nine members and that too virtually was the toughest thing until we gave it a try. Our theme was to depict the impacts on earth as a result of COVID 19. Starting from past to future where we conclude saying that somehow we need to live with it is all about the story. 

Working in a big group was confusing we had to change the themes in between, shift to different backgrounds to build the connection since transformation was our concept. Those were the sleepless nights on zoom calls. I needed a person to shoot the entire video so I had to stay at my friend's place. We made different set ups, tried different locations and all. Mine was the last part. In order to depict earth revolving uniformly I myself tried to make rotations to personify the entire concept. Started looking at the sun and rotated to a point where I fainted and created a situation at my friends place. Since then we had to change the entire concept and in a moment it struck me with an idea of making stop motion video. 

This was the actual scene that got captured. Again I had to try it outdoor to attain some earthy emotion. Again I started rotating outside and it started raining and we had to rush to home.  

Starting at night we then built another set up.

Adjusting a frame to fit the entire scene including me was the worst task we faced. It was tough.

This was finalised and then we moved into audio. Kuldeep was in charge and we all slept at 3 and some of us got a chance to see the transformation from night time to sunrise. It wasn't that fun at late night since we were all tired. 

Thats me pretending to be the earth with some impacts that COVID imparted which actually ended up in failure. We were all laughing the whole time at our hilarious ideas.
